3D Scale Model of a Packaging and Palletising Line

KOM Engineering & Assembling

For KOM E&A, we created a detailed 1:10 scale 3D model of a packaging and palletising line. This line was developed to replace the manual packaging and stacking of waffles and clearly demonstrates how the automated process ensures a faster and more efficient product flow.

In this process, one robot folds and glues the boxes, while a second robot neatly places the waffle packs inside. The boxes are then automatically closed and sealed. A third robot stacks the filled boxes in a precise pattern on pallets, ready for transport.

The scale model shows the entire setup, including the robots, conveyors and all critical components that make the process easy to understand. It is used at the company’s headquarters and at trade shows as a visual tool to give internal teams, visitors, partners and potential customers a clear impression of how the automated line works and what advantages it brings.

Thanks to its 1:10 scale, the model is compact and easy to place or transport, while retaining all essential details. In this way, KOM E&A makes complex processes tangible and uses the scale model to support training, communication and the ongoing development of innovative production solutions.
